Girl With Made-up Gun

It took me a while to realize, but this deviation still looked boring, despite my self-touted celebration of having it in color.

It definitely need a background, but then I decided that it simply needed a shadow. There now; it looks more grounded and solid

Finally, a colored drawing!!!

Boy, was this hard to finish! The drawing’s actually pretty old, about a month or so. I colored it with Photoshop 7 and a Wacom tablet; this marks a personal milestone for me since it's only my second succesful attempt at coloring with Photoshop. More than four hours’ worth of labor went in here; I wonder if I should even have worked that many hours. Oh well, practice makes perfect!!

And now, about the drawing: This image popped in my head and so I drew it. It’s a girl in combat pants, wielding an imaginary, hi-tech wind-up hand-cannon. Don’t ask me what for; I just thought it was cool.

I seriously would have wanted to add a background to this, but silly me, I flattened all the layers and closed Photoshop before I knew it. Zoh well.
