Ya know Astro, I just realized that Ophelia's Mace has plenty of skewered skulls in that last spike there.
Also, that mad saurian head in panel 7 (The one with Sol's fists clenched as he roars, "COME ON!")
I can't help but wonder if that's Sol's father. A silohouette, or representation of sort. Albeit Sol's fighting drive has a lot to do with familial pride and tradition right?
You can leave it un-answered if you wish though. Part of the story is having each viewer take his own interpretation of it, and I know that.
